How To Pray For Our Government?- National Day of Prayer 2011

God’s challenge… “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” I Timothy 2:1-2

Our response… Pray for local, state and federal leaders. Ask God to grant them wisdom, discernment, and hearts that are open to His leading. Pray that believers would be faithful to lift up our officials and the decisions that will affect our nation’s future, so that biblical principles might prevail in the public square and throughout the halls of government.
